Nandus
Nandus
Hello friends, Welcome to zoology museum, Shri Shivaji Science College Nagpur. I am Nandus, a small freshwater fish with a compressed body and large pectoral fins. I am a carnivore, feeding on smaller fish and insects. I rely on my camouflage to blend in with aquatic vegetation, which helps me ambush prey. My body is covered in small, rough scales, and I have a large, upturned mouth suited for catching prey. I live in slow-moving rivers, lakes, and ponds. My reproduction involves external fertilization, where females lay eggs on submerged plants, and males guard the eggs until they hatch. Thank you visit again.
