Lionfish

Hello friends welcome to museum of Zoology Department, Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur. I am a lionfish, a venomous marine fish with a striking appearance. My body is adorned with red, white, and brown stripes. I have large, fan-like pectoral fins. My dorsal spines contain venom, which I use for defense. I live in coral reefs, lagoons, and rocky crevices. I am primarily active at night, making me a nocturnal hunter. I reproduce rapidly, with females releasing thousands of eggs. Thank you visit again.
