Necturus

Hello friends welcome to museum of Zoology Department, Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur.I am Necturus, also known as the mudpuppy.I retain my external gills throughout my life.My body is adapted for an aquatic lifestyle.I have a broad, flattened head.My tail is laterally compressed for swimming.I am nocturnal and hide during the day.I can regenerate lost limbs.I communicate using low-frequency sounds.
