Hydrophis (Sea Snake) 

 Hello friends welcome to Zoology Museum Shri Shivaji Science college, Nagpur. I am Hydrophis, a type of sea snake. I’m highly venomous and live in the warm waters of the Indian and Pacific Oceans. I have a flattened, paddle-like tail that helps me swim. I can stay underwater for long periods due to my specialized lung. I feed mainly on fish and eels. My body is slender, with scales arranged in bands or rings. I’m adapted for life at sea, rarely needing to come ashore. I give live birth, unlike most snakes that lay eggs. My venom is potent, but I’m not aggressive towards humans. I’m a key predator in marine ecosystems. Thank you visit again.
