Trionyx

Hello friends welcome to museum of Zoology Department, Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur. I’m Trion, the softshell turtle. I have a brownish olive skin with white spots, sometimes surrounded by yellow rings. I can grow quite large, with some of my relatives reaching up to 70 cm in carapace length. I’m carnivorous, feeding on invertebrates, fish, and amphibians. Unfortunately, many of my relatives are endangered due to habitat destruction and hunting.
