Metridium

Hello friends welcome to museum of Zoology Department, Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur.I am Metridium, commonly known as the sea anemone. I have a cylindrical body with a crown of tentacles. My tentacles deliver a mild sting to capture prey. I provide habitat for other small marine organisms. I contribute to the biodiversity and ecological balance of my habitat. Thank you visit again.
