Grasshopper  

Hello friends, welcome to zoology museum, Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur. I’m a grasshopper, and I love hopping around. I have powerful hind legs that help me jump great distances. I eat mostly plants, and I’m known for my big appetite. My body is green or brown to blend in with grass and plants. I produce sound by rubbing my legs against my wings – that’s how I sing. My compound eyes help me see in many directions. I have wings, and some of us can fly long distances. I go through incomplete metamorphosis from nymph to adult. I can sense changes in my environment with my antennae. Thankyou visit again.
