Rhiostoma
Rhiostoma
Hello Friends, Welcome To Zoology Museum, Shri Shivaji Science College Nagpur. I am Rhiostoma, a type of land snail with a coiled, spiraled shell. I am slow-moving, using my muscular foot to glide along surfaces. My body is soft and moist, and I rely on my shell for protection from predators. I feed on plant material, such as leaves and decaying organic matter. My eyes are located on stalks, and I have tentacles that help me sense my environment. I prefer moist habitats, often hiding in leaf litter or under logs to avoid drying out. I reproduce by laying eggs in damp soil. Thank you visit again.
