Hello Friends, Welcome To Zoology Museum, Shri Shivaji Science College Nagpur. I am Onchidium, a type of air-breathing sea slug. I live in intertidal zones, where I graze on algae and detritus found on rocks and mudflats. Unlike most marine mollusks, I do not have a shell, but my body is protected by tough, leathery skin. I can survive both in and out of the water, using lungs to breathe air when exposed. My body secretes mucus to help me glide across surfaces and avoid drying out. I reproduce by laying eggs, which develop into free-swimming larvae before settling down as juveniles. Thank you visit again.
