Scutigera (House Centipede) 

Hello friends, welcome to zoology museum, Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur. I’m Scutigera, the house centipede. I have long legs, which help me run super-fast. My body is segmented, with many pairs of legs. I’m a predator, eating insects and spiders. I’m usually found in dark, damp places in houses. My legs are very sensitive, helping me sense prey. I have venomous claws to subdue my prey. My eyes are large for a centipede, giving me decent vision. I’m beneficial, as I help control household pests. My movements are quick, and I startle easily. I’m more scared of you than you are of me. Thankyou visit again.
