Salpa 

Hello friends welcome to Zoology Museum Shri Shivaji Science college, Nagpur. I’m Salpa, a transparent, gelatinous creature. I belong to the tunicate family. I can reproduce both sexually and asexually. I’m often found in chains with my fellow salps. My body is barrel-shaped with muscle bands around it.  I filter-feed on plankton and other tiny particles. I contribute significantly to the ocean’s carbon cycle. I’m bioluminescent, which makes me glow in the dark. I can quickly form large colonies when food is abundant. Thank you visit again.
