Bungarus (Krait Snake) 

Hello friends welcome to Zoology Museum Shri Shivaji Science college, Nagpur. I am Bungarus, better known as the krait snake. I’m one of the most venomous snakes found in Asia. I’m easily recognized by my shiny, black and white or yellow bands. I’m nocturnal, hunting mostly at night. I prefer preying on other snakes, including my own kind. My venom is highly toxic, affecting the nervous system. I’m generally shy and avoid humans, only biting if threatened. I lay eggs, with females guarding them until they hatch. I inhabit a variety of environments, from forests to farmlands. I’m revered and feared for my potent venom. Thank you visit again.
