Hello Friends, Welcome To Zoology Museum, Shri Shivaji Science College Nagpur. I am Macrognathus, a spiny eel, known for my elongated body and distinctive snout. I live in freshwater environments, where I burrow into the substrate to hide from predators and search for food. My diet consists of small invertebrates, which I catch using my long, sensitive snout. I am nocturnal, becoming more active at night. My body is covered in small spines along my back, which help protect me from predators. I reproduce by laying eggs in shallow water, and my larvae develop into free-swimming juveniles. Thank you visit again.
