Mystus

Hello friends welcome to zoology museum Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur. I am Mystus, a freshwater catfish known for my whiskers. I thrive in rivers and lakes, often found lurking in the shadows. My barbels help me detect food in murky waters, making me an excellent hunter. I feed on small fish, insects, and detritus, playing a role in the aquatic food web. I can adapt to different water conditions, showcasing my resilience.  communicate with others through body movements and sounds. I’m an important part of my ecosystem, contributing to nutrient cycling. My sleek body allows me to navigate through various habitats with ease. I’m often preyed upon by larger fish and birds, so I stay alert. I’m proud to be a fascinating part of the aquatic community. Thank you visit again.
