Rhizostoma

Hello friends welcome to museum of Zoology Department, Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur.I am Rhizostoma, commonly known as the barrel jellyfish.I have a large, bell-shaped body with a diameter of up to 1 meter.My diet includes plankton and small fish.I have numerous oral arms for capturing prey.I reproduce both sexually and asexually.My sting is mild, but it can cause irritation to humans.I play a role in marine food webs as both predator and prey.
