Salpa

Hello friends welcome to museum of Zoology Department, Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur.I am Salpa, a transparent, barrel-shaped tunicate.I move by contracting my body to pump water through it.I form long chains or colonies in the ocean.My body is mostly water and very gelatinous.I can reproduce both sexually and asexually.I am bioluminescent, glowing in the dark ocean.I contribute to the ocean's food web.
