Grasshopper

Hello friends welcome to museum of Zoology Department, Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur.I am a grasshopper, an insect known for my powerful hind legs.I am capable of long jumps to escape predators.My diet consists mainly of grasses and other plants.I produce sound by rubbing my hind legs against my wings.I have compound eyes for wide-angle vision.I am active during the day, making me diurnal.I am found in a variety of habitats, including grasslands and forests.
