Krait Snake

Hello friends welcome to museum of Zoology Department, Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur. I am a krait, a highly venomous snake. My venom is neurotoxic, affecting the nervous system.I have a shiny, smooth-scaled body with distinct bands. I am nocturnal, hunting at night for small mammals and other snakes. I am known for my calm demeanor but can be deadly if provoked.My bite is often painless initially, leading to delayed treatment. I am revered and feared in local folklore. Thank you visit again.
