Hello friends welcome to museum of Zoology Department, Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur. I am Herpestes, commonly known as the mongoose.I am a small, agile carnivore.I have a long body and short legs, with a bushy tail.I am known for my ability to kill venomous snakes.I have keen senses of smell and hearing.I am active during the day, making me diurnal.I communicate with a variety of vocalizations and body signals.
