Sea Cucumber
Sea Cucumber
Hello Friends, Welcome To Zoology Museum, Shri Shivaji Science College Nagpur. I am Sea Cucumber, a soft-bodied marine animal. My cylindrical body has leathery skin and is covered with tiny tube feet that help me move slowly along the ocean floor. I feed by sifting through sand and organic matter, using my tentacles to bring food to my mouth. I play an important role in cleaning the ocean floor, recycling nutrients. When threatened, I can expel my internal organs to confuse predators, and I can regenerate them later. My habitat ranges from shallow waters to deep-sea environments. I reproduce by releasing eggs and sperm into the water. Thank you visit again.
