Chameleon

Hello friends welcome to museum of Zoology Department, Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur. I am a chameleon, known for my ability to change color. I have independently mobile eyes, giving me a wide field of vision. My tongue is long and fast, used to catch prey. I am an insectivore, feeding primarily on insects. My tail is prehensile, used for balance and holding onto branches. I change color for communication, camouflage, and temperature regulation. I live in trees and bushes in warm climates. My skin has special cells called chromatophores that change color. Thank you visit again .
