Osteobrama
Osteobrama
Hello friends Welcome to zoology museum, Shri Shivaji Science College Nagpur "I am Osteobrama , a freshwater fish known for my compressed body and sharp dorsal fin. My scales are silver, and my belly has a distinct keel. Found in Indian rivers and lakes, I am a popular species for local fisheries. My mouth is slightly upturned, which helps me feed on small aquatic insects. I thrive in slow-moving waters. My genus name, 'Osteobrama,' refers to my bony structure. I am often seen schooling in large numbers. I have a high tolerance for fluctuating water conditions." Thank you visit again.
