Hello friends, welcome to zoology museum, Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur. I’m a house bee larva, the baby stage of a honeybee. I hatch from an egg and grow inside a wax cell. Worker bees feed me a special diet of royal jelly. I’m pale and grub-like, without wings or legs yet. My job is to eat and grow – and I grow fast! In a few days, my cell is capped so I can pupate. I develop into an adult bee during pupation. Worker bees keep my cell clean and check on me often. I have no eyes or antennae in this stage. My transformation to adult takes about three weeks. When I emerge, I’m ready to help the hive. Thankyou visit again.
