Pennaria

Hello friends welcome to museum of Zoology Department, Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur. I am Pennaria, a colonial hydroid. My tiny polyps form branching colonies. I use my tentacles to capture plankton. I have a simple, tube-like body structure. I reproduce both sexually and asexually. My colonies attach to submerged surfaces. I can sting with my nematocysts. I contribute to the diversity of coral reef ecosystems. Thank you visit again.
