Queen Termite 

Hello friends, welcome to zoology museum, Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur. I’m a queen termite, the mother of the colony. I lay thousands of eggs to keep my colony thriving. My body is much larger than a worker or soldier termite. I live in a chamber deep within the termite mound. I can live for many years, producing millions of eggs. I rely on worker termites to build and maintain the mound. I help ensure the colony’s survival by producing new workers. Thankyou visit again.
