Hello friends welcome to Zoology Museum Shri Shivaji Science college, Nagpur. I’m the yellow sea snake, known as Hydrophis spiralis. I have a striking yellow and black banded pattern. I’m one of the most venomous sea snakes in the world. I’m adapted for life in shallow coastal waters and estuaries. I hunt mainly fish, using my venom to immobilize them. I’m viviparous, meaning I give birth to live young. My body is streamlined, with a paddle-like tail for swimming. I can stay submerged for up to two hours without surfacing. I’m not aggressive, but my bite is dangerous if provoked. I play a crucial role in controlling fish populations. Thank you visit again.
