Hello Friends, Welcome To Zoology Museum, Shri Shivaji Science College Nagpur. I am Echis, commonly known as the saw-scaled viper. I am a venomous snake with a stout body covered in rough, keeled scales that produce a rasping sound when I rub them together as a warning to predators. My venom is hemotoxic, affecting the blood and tissues of my prey. I am found in dry, arid regions, where I hunt small mammals, birds, and lizards. I am highly aggressive and will strike quickly when threatened. I reproduce by laying eggs or giving live birth, depending on the species. Thank you visit again.
