Nemacheilus  

Hello friends Welcome to zoology museum, Shri Shivaji Science College Nagpur "I am Nemachelius  ,  a small, freshwater loach known for my slender, elongated body and barbels around my mouth. My scales are tiny, and my skin feels smooth. Found in fast-flowing streams, I spend most of my time near the bottom, scavenging for food. My genus includes various species, mainly found in South and Southeast Asia. I prefer clean, oxygen-rich water. My dorsal fin is positioned midway down my back, and I have a distinctive forked tail."
