Hello friends welcome to museum of Zoology Department, Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur. I am Alytes, commonly known as the midwife toad. I am known for males carrying eggs on their backs. I have a robust body with short limbs. My skin is warty and usually brown or Gray. I am nocturnal and prefer moist habitats. I produce a distinctive, melodious call. I play a role in controlling insect populations. Thank you visit again.
