Hello friends welcome to zoology museum shri Shivaji science college, Nagpur. I am Ophiothrix, a brittle star known for my long, flexible arms. My arms help me move swiftly across the ocean floor, searching for food. I thrive in diverse marine environments, often found in coral reefs. I feed on detritus and tiny organisms, playing a crucial role in the ecosystem. My ability to regenerate lost arms helps me survive in challenging conditions. I communicate with my surroundings through subtle movements and changes in posture. I’m often preyed upon by larger marine animals, so I stay alert. I contribute to the biodiversity of my habitat, supporting a balanced ecosystem. I can often be seen clinging to rocks or coral, showcasing my unique form. I’m happy to be a part of the vibrant marine community. Thank you visit again.
