Wallago attu

Hello friends welcome to museum of Zoology Department, Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur.   I am Wallago attu, a large freshwater catfish. My body is elongated and cylindrical.I am a voracious predator, feeding on fish and small vertebrates. I have a powerful jaw with sharp teeth. I am an important fish in commercial and subsistence fishing. I spawn during the monsoon season. I can grow quite large, making me a notable catch for anglers. Thank you visit again.
