Chelone

 Hello friends welcome to museum of Zoology Department, Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur. I am Chelone, commonly known as the sea turtle.My body is protected by a hard shell.I have flippers adapted for swimming in the ocean.I migrate long distances between feeding grounds and nesting sites.I come ashore to lay eggs on sandy beaches.I play a crucial role in marine ecosystems, such as maintaining healthy seagrass beds.
