Funambulus

Hello friends welcome to museum of Zoology Department, Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur. I am Funambulus, commonly known as the Indian palm squirrel. I have three distinctive white stripes running down my back. I am a small, agile rodent. My diet includes fruits, nuts, seeds, and insects. I live in trees, building nests out of leaves and twigs. My tail is bushy, used for balance when climbing. I am known for my quick and erratic movements. Thank you visit again.
