Hello friends welcome to zoology museum Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur. I’m Sycon, a simple sponge. I have a vase-like structure with pores. I filter-feed by drawing in water. I have no organs or tissues. I reproduce both sexually and asexually. I’m anchored to hard surfaces underwater. I play a role in nutrient cycling. I provide habitats for small marine organisms. I’m sensitive to changes in water quality. Thank you visit again.
