Silkworm 

 Hello friends welcome to Zoology Museum Shri Shivaji Science college, Nagpur.  I’m Bombyx mori, the silkworm. I’m famous for producing silk. I feed exclusively on mulberry leaves. I go through a complete metamorphosis from larva to moth. My cocoon is harvested to produce silk threads. I’ve been domesticated for over 5,000 years. I can no longer fly as an adult. I play a vital role in the textile industry. I contribute to the livelihoods of many around the world. My silk is highly valued for its strength and luster. Thank you visit again.
