Herdmania

Hello friends welcome to museum of Zoology Department, Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur. I am Herdmania, a type of sea squirt. My body is sac-like and covered in a tough tunic. I am a sessile marine organism, attaching to rocks or other hard surfaces. I filter water to feed on plankton and detritus. I have two siphons: one for inhaling water and the other for exhaling. My simple nervous system is concentrated around my siphons. Thank you visit again.
