Chiton

Hello friends welcome to museum of Zoology Department, Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur.I am Chiton, a genus of marine mollusks. I have a flattened, oval body covered in eight overlapping plates. My body is covered in a tough, leathery girdle. I play a role in controlling algal growth on rocks. I provide habitat for small marine organisms. Thank you visit again.
