Hello friends welcome to zoology museum Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur.  I am Ostobrama, a small freshwater fish found in schools. My silvery body allows me to blend in with my surroundings, evading predators. I feed on plankton and detritus, playing a crucial role in the aquatic food web. My presence indicates a healthy ecosystem with plenty of food sources. I adapt well to various freshwater habitats, showcasing my resilience. I migrate seasonally to spawn, returning to familiar areas. I communicate with my school through synchronized movements. I’m often preyed upon by larger fish, so I stay alert and cautious. I contribute to the biodiversity of my habitat, enhancing its ecological balance. I’m happy to be a part of my aquatic community. Thank you visit again.
