Hello friends, welcome to zoology museum, Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur. I’m a stick insect, the ultimate master of disguise. I look just like a twig or branch to avoid predators. My long, slender body helps me blend in with plants. I’m mostly herbivorous, munching on leaves. I can remain completely still for long periods. My camouflage makes it hard for birds to spot me. I shed my skin several times as I grow. Some of us can reproduce without a mate – that’s called parthenogenesis. I’m mostly active at night to avoid detection. I can regenerate lost legs over time. My color changes slightly to match my surroundings. Thankyou visit again.
