Notarius

Hello friends welcome to museum of Zoology Department, Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur. I am Notarius, a genus of sea catfish. My body is robust and streamlined. I have whisker-like barbels for sensing my environment. I have a preference for brackish water. My skin is smooth and scaleless.  I am known for my parental care, with males often carrying eggs in their mouth.I have a strong sense of smell. Thank you visit again.
