Hello friends, welcome to zoology museum, Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur. I’m Scolopendra, a centipede with a bite. I have many segments, each with its own pair of legs. My first pair of legs are modified into venomous claws. My body is flexible, allowing me to squeeze through tight spaces. I prefer dark, damp places like under rocks and logs. My antennae help me sense my surroundings in the dark. I don’t have great vision, but I can sense movement. I inject venom into my prey to immobilize it. I’m usually solitary and prefer to hunt alone. Thankyou visit again.
