The journal Linguistic Studies consistently adheres to the standards upheld by leading international associations of scholarly editors and publishers.

1. Professional standards and ethics.
Although the journal is not currently a formal member of COPE or EASE, its editorial policies and peer-review procedures fully comply with the principles and recommendations of the following organizations:

• COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics);

• EASE (European Association of Science Editors);

• WAME (World Association of Medical Editors) — with regard to general standards of editorial ethics.

2. International recognition and indexing.
