The history of my life and how I joined -The Order of Carmelites O.Carm
My name is AIDANI MUTALEBA JULIUS a born of 19th October 1998. I belong to a family of 2(two) children and myself being a first born. As of now our family is being headed by our beloved mother following the death of our beloved father in the year 2011 that left us orphans and a widow to our mother, (May his soul rest in peace). Formally, we had our settlements in Mwanza before shifting to Bukoba where in the real senses we do belong due to some unavoidable circumstances mainly being the Family problems that occurred in June the year 2007.The love and care rendered to me by my mother in cooperation with some relatives have always played a great role in making me who am till this moment. Thanks and honour to the Lord God our God.
LITTLE ABOUT MY EDUCATION.
In 2011 I completed my Primary education at Kagongo Primary school found in Muleba District and the following year that’s 2012 I joined St. Mary’s Rubya Seminary for the Secondary studies until the year 2013 when I finished my Form TWO(II). In 2014 I joined the Apostles of Jesus Seminary in Uganda and in 2015 I completed my Form four. I proceeded with the Advanced studies early in March the year 2016 in the very Seminary until December 2017 when I sat for my form six National Examination well known as UGANDA ADVANCED CERTIFICATE OF EDUCATION (U.A.C.E).
THE HISTORY ABOUT MY VOCATION.
It was in the year 2011 when the Announcement was made at my parish, Rukindo Catholic Parish in Bukoba requesting the young boys who were about to complete the primary Education in that year to come and register so that to sit for the Examination and join St. MARY’S seminary on condition that one was to pass the Examination. Since it was something that I admired I couldn’t therefore hesitate instead I took it as an opportunity and sat for it. Lucky enough I passed the Examination which was my direct ticket to enter the Seminary in the year 2012.
I had my form ONE and form TWO between the year 2012 to 2013 when I left St. Mary’s Rubya Seminary for another Seminary that’s the Apostles of Jesus Seminary Moroto found in the North Eastern part of Uganda in the year 2014 when I joined Form THREE up to the year 2015 the time when I got done with my Form FOUR. Filling in me zeal to serve the Lord, I Had to take the very route back to the very Seminary to pursue my studies at the Advanced Level in 2016.In the year 2017 before breaking for my vacation after completing my Secondary studies I made an Application to join the Major Seminary of the Apostles Jesus congregation for Philosophy in Nairobi. In June 2018 I Received the Admission letter requesting me to report to the Major the Seminary in Nairobi in the late July but this couldn’t be possible under certain circumstances that the Congregation as the whole encountered. Following that incident I felt discouraged and thought of my vocation perishing but the Lord God who has never failed helped me and I got to join the Formation in the Order of Carmelites here in Morogoro.
HOW I GOT TO JOIN THE ORDER OF CARMELITES.
Having failed to proceed to the Major Seminary in Nairobi for the philosophical studies, I shared a lot with many people who helped me by advising me on what to do. I was helped with the various contacts to make to the vocations directors as I tried my best to have talks with them. My uncle who has got his settlements in Bunju went ahead to consult REV. FR. VICTOR BIRAMATA of the Order of Carmelites who gave him the contacts so that I could individually with Him.
It was in October when I began to contact FR. VICTOR BIRAMATA, the vocations Director of the Order and sent me the text requesting me to send him the History of my family, education, seminary life and vocation via the email. I sent the email for the first time in October but unfortunately I t couldn’t reach Him and I continued waiting for His responses in vain. I was told to send Him for the second time that was in early November and I did as was told.
It was the evening time of 10th November when I received the message from FR. VICTOR BIRAMATA asking me to prepare myself and report to the Formation House in Morogoro on the 16th of November with the Secondary Certificates, baptismal card, Bible and some clothes. To me It was such a good news seeing what I longed for was finally answered by God and so I prepared myself for the Journey. I was well received by the Vocations Director whom I found waiting for me at Msamvu.
I thank God that today am a member in the Community of the Order of Carmelites and Kindly I ask God to lead me while am here.
