Who would you consider your role model and why?

Miranda Priestly from The Devil Wears Prada is an icon; I love her. I would definitely consider her my role model. Working at a fashion magazine is something that I would love to do myself, so I look up to her in that way. Also, who doesn’t love a villain? Everybody knows that they get to have more fun.

What are you looking forward to most after graduation?

Mostly an open curriculum. As much as I love Masterman, I found the lack of freedom with the classes you take a little jarring, but that’s what all high-schools are like. I’m looking forward to the freedom with the courses I take in college.

I hear you’re nationally ranked in crew. Any plans for rowing in college?

I would love to row in college, but if I get into my dream school, I’m not sure that I’ll have time. Depending on the school I get into and if I can find the time for rowing, I will definitely pursue it, though.

I’ve also heard that you make your own clothes. Can you tell me a bit about your interest in fashion?

Yeah, I have made a few things. Most recently, I recreated Zendaya in Tom Ford at the Critics Choice Awards, wearing a breastplate that I love. I post about my creations on instagram, mainly, and I love making them.

Favorite bad joke?

Two chemists walk into a bar. The first says to the bartender: I’ll have some H20, please. The second chemist says, “I’ll have H20 too, thank you,” and immediately dies. H202 is Hydrogen Peroxide, which can kill people. I don’t know, I think it’s funny.
