What is special about Ultimate frisbee?

It’s very relaxing compared to other sports because we only practice a few times a week. Sometimes that makes us feel more like a team. We all come out very unofficially and have fun playing frisbee as opposed to going at it five days a week. We don’t have a lot of games. There aren’t many other teams from schools in the city so we go out to tournaments, which is the pinnacle of competition.

What are you most looking forward to in your senior year?

I'm looking forward to my last year of frisbee and my last season in spring. I’m hoping for States because I never got to do that before.

What choirs are you in?

At school I’m in the choir and chamber choir. Outside of school, I do the Philadelphia Boys Choir. I spend a lot of time at choir; I rehearse around six days a week.

What is your favorite choir memory?

With the Boys Choir, I went to the Galapagos. I got to see plants and forests and lots of cool animals. That was the summer after seventh grade.

What does your morning routine look like?

I wake up about 7:20, pack a lunch, and I usually just eat cereal. Then I pack my bags and I go to school. I take the trolley and the subway, normally the 13 and the BSL.

What color would you be in a crayon box and why?

Green because I love plants and trees. I would be used to color those.

What is your favorite fall activity?

My favorite thing to do in the fall is play frisbee. In the spring, near the end of school, it can get unpleasantly warm but in fall the weather is perfect.
