Dear Leawood Families,
This week, we are actively supporting Columbine High School’s Wish Week with dress-up days and restaurant nights. This is a recent tradition in which Columbine High School works in conjunction with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to grant the wish of a student from the Columbine Articulation Area. Last year, they sponsored a 2nd grader from Normandy Elementary named Amelia, and we were able to grant her wish so that she could go to Disney. This year, the funds raised will help a former Columbine student, named Riah, go to Disney. Please look at the dress-up days and fundraising nights to see how you can support Riah to help her wish come true!
Panorama Family Survey
Our school is committed to ensuring that your experience with our school is collaborative, successful, and helps your child learn and grow. We want to know how we are doing. Panorama Education is a company that conducts student and family surveys in schools and districts across the country.
Below is a link to complete a survey about family-school partnerships. The survey is anonymous and will take around 15 – 20 minutes to complete. The results will be compiled into school-level climate reports. These reports will be used by district leadership and school staff to continue the positive work of our schools while identifying and addressing current needs.
At this point, we only have 15% of our families who have completed the survey. Please try to find the time to take the survey before it closes on Friday, February 20th.
Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback!
