Emergency Contact Numbers
In order to receive all communication from the school over the summer break, and any districts news, we need to have the correct phone numbers and email addresses in Jeffco Connect. It is important not to block or unsubscribe messages that come from either the school or district or you will not receive communications about upcoming news, school events or important crisis information. Please make sure you have access to your Jeffco Connect account before we leave for the summer break. If you need help with your account or password re-set, please call the office for assistance.
From the Health Room
It is that time of year again. If your student has medication in the health room:
District policy requires a parent/guardian pick up any unused or discontinued medication at the end of each school year. This includes all prescription and over-the counter medications including cough drops, cough syrup, Tylenol, EpiPen, inhaler, and any other injectable medications.
If you, as the parent, are not able to come in to the school’s health room and pick-up the medication, please call your district RN to set up a special arrangement.
If your child will be in summer school or ESY this summer, please pick up the medication as noted above; the current medication agreement form will be copied and put in a Ziploc along with the medication. You will need to bring this Ziploc bag to your child’s first day of summer school at the site he/she is attending and check it in with the health aide.
The last day of school is now May 23, 2019. This will be an early release day.
All medication that is left in the school health room will be disposed of after the last day of school according to Jeffco policy.
The Health Room is in need of little girls and boys underwear (xxs-m) and pants only (xxs-large).
Stay Healthy,
Ms. Hake
