Welcome to our new enrollment secretary

Hi, I’m Leah Lefevre. I have been working for Jeffco Public Schools for 17 years. I am coming from Brady High School where I worked for 14 years. Coming to Leawood Elementary is such a wonderful opportunity for me.  I am very excited to be working with all the students and staff here.  A little information about me: I have two children, Justin, 29, and Marissa, 26; and I have two fur babies, Peaches and Radar. In my free time, I teach dance and cheerleading to children aged 3-12. I also enjoy camping, going to concerts, watching home improvement shows, and spending time with my family. Oh, and I love the color pink!

Believe it or not, choice enrollment for the 2020-21 school year is coming soon!

Please don't forget to go login to Jeffco Connect and verify that all of your student's fees have been paid. This year Food & Nutrition Services had some delays approving Free & Reduced applications. If you completed the application for Free & Reduced and your student’s fees have not been waived, please contact Food & Nutrition Services at 303-982-6748. Since the district changed to a School Based Budget, we have to pay all of our fees directly out of our school budget. Keep in mind that all of our field trips are again paid online this year. We will be adding the fees to your student as the date of the field trip approaches. While you are in Jeffco Connect, please verify your personal information and make sure we have updated phone numbers and email addresses. In addition, please be sure to add additional emergency contacts other than just parents listed just in case we are unable to reach a guardian. If you need assistance with fees, feel free to contact Mrs. Russell at 303-982-7860 ext. #5. If you would like to apply for Free & Reduced, here is the link to the application.

AFTER HOURS SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

It’s that time of year again when many before or after school activities and clubs begin. If you are dropping off or picking your child up from one of these, please keep in mind that there will be no access to the building before 8:30am or after 4:00pm. Please make arrangements with the teacher or activity coordinator as to where you will drop/pick your child up.

Bus S-39 Schedule change as of 10/29/19:

UPDATES FROM THE CAFETERIA

Information regarding personal checks

Chef Diann will no longer be able to separate a parent’s personal check for lunches between two siblings. You will have to submit two separate checks for each of their accounts. Also, she cannot transfer money from one siblings account to another’s. You can add money to your student’s lunch account online at Food and Nutrition Services.
