Join us for the Winter Singalong on Friday, December 12th at 8:15 a.m. The choir will lead the school in a festive singalong of familiar holiday favorites.
Leawood is collecting wish list items and gift cards to King Soopers, Target, and Walmart to support our families in need this holiday season. If you would like to help, pick up an ornament with a wish list item or purchase a gift card in any amount and drop it off by Friday, December 12th to the front office. We recently hosted a parent coffee talk over ways to support literacy at home, especially over holiday breaks.
Linked to the right is the slide deck we shared. A few ideas that were discussed included:
Using Learning Ally to find books for students to listen independently or as a family while road tripping
Using the Jeffco public library to find decodable and just right books for beginning and struggling readers
Playing word and language games like Taboo, Scattegories, ITZI, Wordle/Spellie, Boggle
Finding and making rhymes

Reserve your 2025-26 yearbook now! The site will be open for ordering until March 30. This year the price per yearbook will be $20 if you order by December 19th, and after that the price will go up to $25, so make sure to order early to take advantage of the lower price! If you are ordering for multiple children, please use the "Add Multiple Students" feature so we will know exactly who the yearbooks are for.

On December 18th, Leawood Choir is participating in Harmonies and Hoops at the Denver Nuggets game. Please see the following attachments for more information and how to purchase tickets. This OPTIONAL event will be a fun time to celebrate before our Winter Break.
