Hello Leawood Families,
We hope this newsletter finds you well. We wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude for the incredible turnout at our Halloween parade and parties. It was so much fun seeing all the creative costumes and the excitement on our students' faces. A special thank you to all the families who joined us in the gym for the costume fashion show. Your participation made the event even more special.
We're also excited to share some fantastic news about our school community. During our recent professional development, I had the privilege of sharing some incredible results from last year's Panorama Data survey. We're thrilled to announce that:
We rank 12th in the district for all elementary schools for staff belonging.
We rank 5th in the district for all schools for student belonging.
We ranked 1st in the District for Student/Teacher Relationships in the District by our 3rd-5th graders.
These achievements are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff, students, and families. We're incredibly proud of our school community and the positive relationships we've built.
As we continue to strive for excellence, we value your input. Please take a moment to complete this short survey (LINK) to share your thoughts and suggestions on areas of strength at Leawood. Your feedback will help us identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Thank you for your continued support.
Your Proud Principal,
Kevin Kolasa
